Notifications from 'UK HOT DEALS'

Hello,

I really need some help, I seem to continually get notifications on my Mac's from 'UK HOT DEALS'.

I haven't ever visited or signed up to their website, but some how i get 2 or 3 notifications from them a day!

I went to the notification centre settings and it's not included on the list, how can I stop the notifications?

Hello jackjbax,

Welcome and thanks for choosing Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post you're receiving some unwanted notifications and would like to know how to stop these notifications. I am happy to help.

Change preferences for notifications

In the Safari app User uploaded file on your Mac, do any of the following:

  • Stop receiving notifications from a website: Choose Safari > Preferences, click Websites, then click Notifications. Find the website in the list, then select Deny.

  • Change how website notifications appear: Choose Apple menu User uploaded file > System Preferences, click Notifications, select the website on the left, then change the notification alert style and other settings on the right.

  • Stop seeing requests for permission to send you notifications in Safari: Choose Safari > Preferences, click Websites, then click Notifications. Deselect “Allow websites to ask for permission to send push notifications”.

From now on, when you visit a website that can send you notifications, you aren’t asked.

Let me know how it goes.
