Two Factor Authentication

I can't find an option where I can turn off the two factor authentication. Is it a must? Why? I just want to turn it off!

Whether you can turn it off will depend upon when you enabled it : Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, however, you can unenroll for a period of two weeks. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require a higher level of security.

Please start your own discussion. Trying to answer several problems in one discussion gets confusing for everyone. A new post would be much more visible.

Hmmm...wait...through the provided link "get a Verification Code and sign in with two factor authentication", I note that we can only ask for the two factor authentication code to be re-shown on the phone screen or have the code sent by sms to the trust phone number....but what if the phone is lost, how could I get the sms? Is it mean that I must first report to the phone operator and request for a new sim card before I can find my phone location and/or erase my personal data?

Have two trust phone numbers may be a suggestion, but....hmmmmmm.....sound so complicated, right? 😀
