Arturia Beatstep as a Logic DAW controller?

Has anyone else tried one of these with Logic as a DAW controller ? all ok? I mean just the rotary knobs, I am not interested in the drum pads.

In Logic Pro X, can I use a sustain pedal as a footswitch for a guitar? Hi, I am looking to do a recording of a song, start to finish in front of a camera, so I don't want to do this in multiple takes. What I'm looking to do is have a clean guitar tone, press the sustain pedal to toggle a distorted tone, then press it again to toggle back to a clean tone. Is there a way to do this? One idea I have (but don't know if this is possible) is to have two guitar tracks recording simultaneously, one clean and one distorted. Clean is audible, and distorted is muted, and when I press the sustain pedal, it toggles and the distorted track is audible and the clean is then muted. Is something like this possible? I'm effectively just looking to have a footswitch in Logic without paying a lot of money for a whole new interface and midi pedalboard I don't need. Thanks for your help.

Issue with Korg Nanokontrol2 and Logic Pro 10.6.1 I recently purchased the Korg NanoKontrol2 control surface to control my Logic Pro tracks in DAW mode. However, I am struggling in order to use it in the "DAW" mode instead of the "CC" mode. The transport buttons are working fine. However none of the individual channel strip buttons including the fader, knob, solo, mute and arm button are working for the individual tracks. As per Korg manual, by default it is supposed to control a set of 8 tracks, and it is shown by a white line marker beside the tracks. After searching the forum, I found the below post helpful (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250711613#:~:text=Open%20Logic%20and%20go%20to,the%20control%20surface%20setup%20window.), and it actually resolved the problem of using the control surface in DAW mode and the channel strips are working fine. However now the "track" buttons are not able to navigate/select the tracks one by one. Instead, pressing either of the 2 track buttons navigates to the next group of 8 tracks directly and I am unable to switch between the tracks individually. The Korg latest drivers/instruction also did not help much. Thanks in advance for any help.

Korg nanoKontrol not working Hello,Just bought the nanoKoontrol studio from Korg. I, of course, installe drivers & pluggins and it worked fine with Logic Pro X 10.4.1... BUT it just worked as a controller for the DAW (Volume, pan, mute, etc...) AND that is the only thing I'm not interested in... I want to use it to control my plugs with CC#But that doesn't seem to work :-(I've uninstalled everything, cleared the nanokontrol within Logic app. And still it doesn't work.SO I re-installed (not the logic daw control installer) and the odd thing is that :Audio Midi Setup sees the device; but doesn't receive any midi signal.Logic, Reason, Live, etc doesn't receive any signal.Of course I reset the Korg to factory settings but still...grrrrAny idea?Thank you!!!
