dropbox screenshots

Hi,

Wondering if anyone else has this issue since installing Mojave. The Dropbox desktop app has a function which, after you take a screenshot, it saves the file to your Dropbox folder, then copies a public link to the folder to your clipboard. (This is super handy as a designer to quickly send a revision to a design to a client).

I just installed Mojave and it seems to be overriding this functionality (copy screenshot link to clipboard) with it's own new screenshot functionality. (which is nifty enough but now, for me, it's extra steps to locate the screenshot, copy a link to it and paste it into the email...)

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any fix? Is there a method to turn off Apple' new screenshot features (while still allowing it to take screenshots) to let Dropbox regain control?

I'm on an iMac - Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015, Core i7. Using the latest non-beta version of Mojave, and also the latest version of the Dropbox desktop app.

Thanks for any help!

IMAC (RETINA 5K, 27-INCH, LATE 2015), iOS 12.0.1

Thanks for the reply. I agree it's probably a Dropbox issue but thought I'd cross-post here to see if anyone else in the Apple ecosystem was having this issue.

I'm aware of the "Send To" Mail option...the difference is that it sends the actual file in mail and I want to send a Dropbox link to the file (which is what the Dropbox functionality does) and not the actual screenshot file.
