If you bought them directly from Apple, yes, you have 14 days from the date of purchase (28 in some countries) to return the item for a full refund, no questions asked.

Do note that Apple has made no mention of any new Airpods coming. So it is all speculation and rumour and may turn out to entirely false.

There is no direct retail Apple Store in India, as such whoever you bought it from is not actually Apple. It may have been an Apple Authorized reseller.

In that case, the store's own return policy would be in effect, and you would have to deal with them directly.

If they do not take returns, then that's their policy.

Macs don't come with headphones at all. Apple itself does not include headphones with them.
