The speaker not working in Facebook messenger please help

When I make a call on Facebook messenger and press the icon for the speaker of the receiver won’t hear my voice and of course in video calls as well I changed the aux socket yesterday but if it was the problem wouldn’t the speaker not be working at all not just for fb messenger ? iPhone 6s Plus I tried deleting the Messenger and reinstall it didn’t work
