Airport Express 7.8 firmware question

The release notes for the 7.8 firmware update reads: "Firmware update 7.8 adds AirPlay 2 support to 802.11n AirPort Express base stations."

Does this include the 1st generation 802.11n router, aka MB321LL/A?

thanks!

No, since the 1st Gen AirPort Express has previously been listed as "Obsolete" by Apple, meaning that it is no longer supported.

In other words, the only AirPort Express version that Apple still supports is the 2nd Gen version, so that would be the only device that would accept the 7.8 firmware update.
