keyboard text substitution is lost after upgrade to Mojave

Since upgrading to Mojave, all keyboard text replacement / substitution data has been lost (on Mac only).

It is still available on my iPhone and iPad and works - not on my Mac. Yes I am signed into iCloud and all other iCloud based data appears to be working without problem...

Can anyone help to restore this very missed feature...

With thanks

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), macOS Mojave (10.14)

I ended up unchecking 'Add period with double-space' in System Preferences - Keyboard - Text.

Then signed out of iCloud.

Rebooted my iMac

Then signed back into iCloud...

All text replacements reappeared and then I re-checked 'Add period with double-space'....

May have been a total fluke!

Good luck.
