Recording Quits

I am recording voice podcast ising built in microphone and after an hour of recording it stoped recording further. Each time I attempt to continue recording after this stop point it stops in a second. Is there time limit for voice recording? My iMac has plenty of memory.
What is going on? Please help.

Hmmm, you're the first person to be confused by that entry ... in your honour it now reads:

Q. How long can a GarageBand project be?

BTW, I would suggest that using the term "Quits" isn't the best choice. "Quits" implies that something bad happened, like the program crashed. I would say the program "Stops recording at..." (I had to read your message a couple of times to figure out that you didn't mean the program quit on you).

Good luck with the rest of your project
