If you are running Mojave then open the Applications folder and look for the App Store application. Double-click on it to open. Or look at the Dock on the Desktop and click on the App Store's icon. Now, are you still unable to get it to open? If so, then it would help if you might take a screenshot of the error messages that appear. How to take a Screenshot.

When I click on apple icon at top left corner of my mac book pro screen (mojave os ) and then click App Store (which says '1 update' next to it) a box comes up saying. . The application "App Store" can't be opened. Then behind it another larger box opens up saying. . App Store cannot be opened because of a problem. The larger box then details Problem details and System Configuration . .Process, Path etc.. .
I have tried again and again over several days and no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
