I would say that you could try to go to a laser engraving business and try to have them change it. Either maybe they can erase it or maybe they can try something like change an "i" into an "l". Hope it works for you!
Cheating them? How is it cheating when the person that ordered the engraving accidentally told apple the wrong spelling of the words he or she wanted on the iPod. Surly they'd understand and change the engraving free of charge or for a small price.
Well I'm not trying to get this person to "cheat" apple. But if it was a mistake by the person requesting the engraving. Then I would have thought apple would understand and change the engraving. But I guess not.
you may not be able to get rid of the engraving but at a lot of stores they sell things that stick on your ipod, once on you can't tell that there was engrving there
I meant contact them and tell them you spelt the words you wanted engraved wrong and you were wondering if that if you send it in to them if they would fix the engraving.
