iMessage no way to add my number in settings
My iPad 2 does not send or recieve sms or mms. There is no way to add my number in the settings. How do I fix this?

The SIM is for data only. That cannot be used for phone calls or for SMS. It is not provisioned that way. The number that you see for the iPad is just an accounting number used for billing purposes, and cannot be used for making or receiving phone calls.
