Can I use overdrive app to borrow an ebook from my local library

i learned that I can “borrow“ a book from my local library to read on my iPad. So I downloaded OverDrive app which found my local library, which then led me to something called Libby. not very seamless. And it keeps asking me to verify the account, which I do, but it keeps going in a circle. 😠

Talk to your library. Libby and overdrive are separate apps so your library should be able to guide in which to use and how (I think Libby is the newer app). You can also contact OverDrive for support with their products - https://www.overdrive.com/
