Show Cursor in Keynote Recording Playback?

I'm doing 'Record Slideshow...' on Keynote 8.2 and I want to be able to point to my slide with my cursor and have the cursor appear during playback so my audience can see what I'm pointing at while listening to my narration. They keyboard shortcut does NOT enable this.

Is it possible?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

There is not a tool in Keynote that can either record the image of the cursor or be able to play it back.

A workaround is to play the Keynote presentation while playing back manually, then use Quicktime Player to record the screen. Open Quicktime Player and go to New Screen Recording.

There will be a loss in quality but it will do as you want.

Hi Gary, that option is already selected. I don't think I explained my problem adequately. I'm making a recording of my voice while showing my slides for a college class that I teach. This is from Keynote menu: Play > Record Slideshow...

I make the recording and while I am speaking I am using my mouse pointer to point at different parts of each slide as I speak. Then I stop the recording and I watch it as if I were a student by using Keynote menu: Play > Play Recorded Slideshow.

I can see my slides and hear my voice, but my pointer is NOT showing up on the slide. So when my students watch/listen to this, they also will not see my pointer. I want them to see it.

As far as I can tell, this is NOT possible in Keynote, but I am hoping I'm wrong.

Kurt
