Unfortunately Safari doesn't support "print selection" natively.

1. What you can try is using the "Services" option.

Highlight the selection.

Click Safari > Services > New TextEdit window containing selection

TextEdit will open with a page showing selected webpage content.

TextEdit > File > Print.

User uploaded file

Note: Formatting will be way off. You may not want to pursue this option.

2. Click Safari in the menubar.

Safari > Extensions

When App store extensions page opens, search for an extension "Print Selection" (paid).

I have not tried this extension recently.
