How do i password protect imessages

Apple has yet to address this issue. Although it’s not an ios flaw it is nonetheless a problem for those of us who may need to share our iphone with acfamily member. Disabling imessage preview is a plus but there is still a need to keep messages private. Please help push this to the top of the next ios upgrade “features”. Thanks.
