charges on debit card although it is stated apple music is free for 3 months

About payment card authorization holds from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

It might be that the merchant (Apple in this case) is testing whether the card can be used for such payments. If this is indeed a ‘hold’ then then charge should be reversed after it clears. Does the statement description give clues to an authorization hold?


If you see 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support

More leads to investigate what is going on.
