Actually, that answer is only partially right. Miladdd would not be able to activate an eSIM with a regional carrier in Mexico since they don't support it, but if he already has an active eSIM from his home country he will certainly be able to roam on the networks of the Mexican carriers. Roaming in other countries with an already active eSIM does not require the local carriers in that country to actually support eSIMs. Support for eSIMs is only required for new eSIM activations.

If you already have an active eSIM from your home country you will be able to roam on the Mexican carriers' networks, no problem. However, if your eSIM is inactive then you will not be able to activate it with a local line from a Mexican carrier for now since none of them supports that yet.

Mexico is not one of the countries with carriers which support it, so you would not be able to use a carrier there.
