Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. I see that you haven't received a response to your post just yet. Answering the following questions may help others in the community get you to a solution:
What iOS device and model are you using? Example, iPhone XS Max, iPod touch (6th generation).
What iOS version is currently installed on it? Example, iOS 12.0.1 (you can get this under Settings > General > About > Version).
What are you trying to connect to? Example, a bluetooth device (speaker, headphones), a wired connection to a stereo, to a computer and iTunes, the iTunes Store app.
What is happening when you try? If you get any error messages, what are they?
