Photos 4

Just happily upgraded to Mojave; and I see Photos is now version 4.

Not yet been able to find details of what - if anything - is new in Photos 4.

TIA!

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS Mojave (10.14), Clean machine... no haxies; no Microsoft etc

Photos 4.0 is not very different from Photos 3.0.

  • One new feature is, that now the filenames will be shown below the thumbnails, if a photo has no title.
  • Photos supports the dark mode, so you can now see the thumbnails on a dark background.
  • The share menu does no longer allow to share to Flickr, Twitter, or face book.
  • You can no longer create cards, calendars, books and have them printed by Apple. You have to use third-party project extensions instead.
