Automator - Create Folders & Sort Files

I'm looking to create a process where I can run an automation that will create three folders (1. JPEG, 2. RAW, 3. VIDEO) and sort files by file type to automatically sort into those created subfolders.

I need the folders to be recreated each time so that It can be a repeatable process each time I import media.

Any ideas?

I wish to use Automator to create a task that opens the folder, creates a new enclosing folder for each individual video file, and names each enclosing folder the same name as the video file (minus the extension of course). how to copy and move multiple files in folders ans subfolders Hi, I have a Folder with several subfolders which contain image files. I want to use an Automator script to select the Parent folder, and then copy each image files contained in subfolders and put them all in a new folder. I tried several methods but no success can somebody help me please ?

Automate files into folders by month I'm running 17 time lapse cameras. Each camera takes a photo every 15 minutes, and uploads it into a Dropbox folder so my client can see / access. I'd like to run an automator script that puts files into different folders depending on the filename: 20220304071500.JPG (2022 03 04 07:15:00) So I'd like the script to be able to read the 5th and 6th characters which will be the month on every file I have, and put them into a folder of the same number If it could create that folder, even better... there are 599,000 images for me to sort and the project is ongoing :-| Any help would be appreciated

Depending on which product and associated operating system

the results in reply may vary; your only info listed here is an older

Mac Pro that probably didn't run Leopard 10.5.8.

Please advise so 'community hosts' may relocate to best suited ASC.
