iPhone XR Ringer Too Low.

Yes, I did. My husband & I just started with these face recognition ID phones. I looked for all kinds of solutions, including the article in this feed. No results.

Our problem was actually a setting under the Face ID menu. Go to Settings, scroll to Face ID & Passcode, then scroll to where it says Attention Aware Features. This is automatically on. Switch it to off. Try getting a call after changing this setting.

Disable Attention awareness feature in the face id. It may help.

Settings>>>Face ID & Passcode>>>Attention-Aware Features(off)

Seems as many poeple are having this problem if this doesn’t fix it it may be a software problem and will probly be fixed in near updates keep in mind this sound bar is separate even if ringer is up so even if you belive this wouldn’t help please attempt it

I phoned Apple Support and I asked them how to fix this and they had no idea. So I set up a Genius Bar appointment and I’m betting they know what to do. But your response has fixed my problem, so I’ll give up my Genius Bar appointment. Thanks so much for posting

Yes! Thank you and now the explanation makes sense! Not that the feature makes sense! I too spent over an hour with tech support where they ultimately told me to get a new phone. I then checked the community board thankfully before doing that!
