Security?

OK I guess apple does not want me to use their App Store! Adobe offered a free scan app for my iPhone. But not only did I have to use my Face ID, I then needed to sign into Apple ID. Then to add insult, the “free” app cost me $1.00! To take it one step further, when I asked to submit my questions it asks me if I trust this browser, really the Safari that I have used for 3 years, and “I might not be asked the next time”??? I understand some security but they are making this way over the top, so suppose a “hacker” downloads a free app, how is that going hurt anyone, you would think I was borrowing gold from Fort Knox!
