Does Apple accept Surface Laptops in their Trade-In Program?

Hello,

I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop (1st Gen) that I would like to trade-in for the new Macbook Air. Is that possible ?

Does Apple accept surface laptops in their trade-in program?

Apparently not. I just used the following link and only some Apple, HP, and Lenovo models will result in a possible payment. Other manufacturers (e.g., Microsoft) can be recycled but not for any credit. Trade in with Apple GiveBack - Apple
