remove duplicate songs in itunes

iTunes has the built-in feature to find and delete duplicate items.

• 1. Open iTunes. Choose Songs in the Library section.
• 2. Go to the menu bar, choose File > Library >Show Duplicate Items.

3. Select the duplicate item you want to delete. From the menu bar, go to Song > Delete.

But in iTunes, the duplicates can be only deleted one by one, if you need delete duplicates smartly, find a 3rd party duplicate remover, and hope this list help: https://www.cisdem.com/resource/5-best-itunes-duplicate-remover-for-mac.html

I looked in the Mac App Store and found a utility called TunesMechanic for iTunes, it claims to remove duplicates. I have never used it so I cannot vouch for it though
