Error message on downloading Mojave

I keep getting the same error message and Mojave won't download: "An error occurred validating the installer data. The download is either damaged or incomplete. Re-download the installer and try again" (and again.....tried 7 times). Anyone else getting this issue?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Thanks for that. I contacted Apple Support and they solved the problem. Delete the Majave Installer App, restart and reinstall. It worked. Cheers.

I see that you're receiving an error when you attempt to update your MacBook Pro. I'm happy to help.


Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac -- Restart your Mac in safe mode and see if you're able to download the installer. If you're still unable to upgrade, try a different Wi-Fi network or connect your Mac to the internet via an ethernet connection.
