IPhone XS Max cellular and WiFi became poor after ios 12.1

Before the ios 12.1 update I read a lot of articles that we have this or that issues with cellular and wifi issues, and was happy that my XS Max is not in the list of the malfunctioning army.

2 days ago, updated with ios 12.1, and ......... :-(

cellular signal became 1-2 bars less, easily "downgrading" from LTE to 3G, from 3G to E
in the areas of my home, and office, where I usually have fare wifi signal, no it is only 1-2 bars, and frequently switches to cellular, even when WiFi assist functionality is switched off.

I did following to try to solve it, but unsuccessful.

switched on / off airplane mode
switched on / off cellular data
switched on / off wifi
reset Network settings
reinstalled update in DFU mode

The same poor signal both cellular and wifi.

It seems the only way is roll-back to ios 12.0.1 and wait to ios 12.1.1.

Does anybody had this issue, are there any other suggestions how to overcome?

After a week intensive "investigations" in the net, and dancing with drums and swords around the phone, I have simply give up, and just solved the issue with a initial plan I had: roll-back to iOS 12 and update to 12.1.1 again.

You may find a lot of instructions in the net how to do this, and I do not what to advertise them.

Just keep in mind, that when you roll-back to previously installed iOS, you can't restore from back-ups done with newer iOS, no matter from iCloud or from iTunes back-up.

Thus, you either recover your phone by older back-up, if they stored in iCloud / iTunes, or after roll-back to 12, first update it to 12.1.1, then restore from backup.

I did the last scenario, using iTunes.

Works very well, and both cellular and especially wi-fi signal become stronger. (maybe even better than it was when i use 12.0.1, but impression could be subjective :-) )

sorry for typo: read iOS 12.1 and not iOS 12.1.1.
