How to reply in this forum

Interesting, as I am able to reply to my own post. But is there is some reason I cannot reply to old post perhaps; but, then why would the reply button even be there?

Now I am able to reply to your post. So I am thinking is there a time limit on posts, so that you can’t reply after a certain period of time has passed ? In the past when I hit reply it does nothing and if I mess with it long enough it just highlights as text.

I am astounded how difficult it is to edit anything in this reply field. I’ve tried to copy and edit and no it’s karma and after easy edit bring back here only to have the fonts and everything completely messed up and although there are options to do many things on the toolbar I could not get any of them to work on this iPad 4. Well this time editing is much easier. Must’ve been a glitch in that particular one reply edit field.

You notice on my attempt to reply via complete mashed up and mix fonts and sizes. I would think clicking the Blue Bay would bring up changing fonts and sizes but instead it seems to create an email or website or something. I backspace to correct spelling or correct a word that spellcheck or changes to a word unrelated to what I want and then it capitalize the letter in the middle of a word. This is becoming an exercise of absolute frustration

Been a mackintosh than Apple user since there early 80s and have some ability to contribute, but just need to know the rules and how websites here work. I noticed that this is one place were putting a couple spaces that you don’t automatically get up. You actually have to place. To complete a sentence and I keep forgetting to do this so the sensors look like a bunch of run-on sentence. Now that I just stated that, to spaces giveInteresting!
