How do I delete folders in Photos (Mac Book Pro)

The answers previously posted don't work for me on my Mac Book Pro, OSX HIGH SIERRA, Version 10.13.6;

Control (right) - click on the folder in the sidebar and select Delete from the contextual menu.

Which previous answer are you referring to? Your question is unfortunately without the context of the previous reply.

In Photos 3 on High Sierra you delete a folder in Photos by selecting the folder in the sidebar, then ctrl-clicking or right-clicking it. Then click "Delete Folder" in the menu, that will pop up.
