Is the Vega GPU in MacBook Pro 2018 JUST an option when ordeing this Mac orbita will ve the New standard?

Vega GPU in MacBook Pro 2018 are going to be just a configuration option or the new standard?

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

Apple is not here. This is a User-to-User support community. Anyone with that sort of insider information is already under non-disclosure agreement, and simply can't say anything that is not already in the public domain.


When I look at the Apple online store, it can see it posted there as an extra cost option on the higher-end 15-in model, but did not say how much the extra cost would be (at least not as of yesterday).
