my ipod music on itunes

hi all,

i seem to be having an issue displaying the artist, album etc when my ipod touch is connected to itunes. If i click on the "music" tab where my ipod is shown on the left hand panel, it only lists the songs and the other panels that should show the artist and album isnt there. Its weird because when i put my other ipod nano onto itunes it shows all the panels and the name of the artist and album next to the song. Im not sure if there is an issue with my ipod touch or whether its something to do with the settings on my ipod touch or if there is a viewing problem connected to Itunes. Can anyone help?
