I've installed Mcafee years ago but i don't really used is so i deleted it, now years later the icon is still in my top bar and i can't get it out, i've tried everything (what i could find). I'm getting desperate, anyone who has solved this?

I think i just fixed it. I pasted this in the terminal:
Type, sudo /Library/McAfee/cma/uninstall.sh (there is a space after “sudo”)
And it did delete something and now the icon is gone.

Uninstall McAfee correctly using their uninstall instructions.
What happened when you used the uninstaller after reinstalling?

They don't provide one, i've installed the app again but the only thing i get is the app. No other files but that.
I already did, i've re-installed the app and opened the terminal. It still says:"-bash: /usr/local/McAfee/uninstallMSC: No such file or directory.
Well i didn't use it because there was not an uninstaller.. . I've included a printscreen of the only thing i can find in my application-folder.
