Please can someone confirm my Display will work with the new Mac mini?

I know I can get a TB2 - USB C (TB3) adaptor, but my Thunderbolt 27" display is TB 1, will this still work? with the new Mac Mini.

Any help appreciated.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Hi

If it is a Thunderbolt display(Thunderbolt icon on the plug) it will work. If it is an older MiniDisplay port monitor you will need another adaptor.
