ios 12 ipad safari share pdf missing

Is the share webpage as pdf in safari option gone in iOS 12? Missing for me and I can’t seem figure it out or find issue with web search. Leads me to believe I’m missing something obvious.

How do I open a .webarchive in iOS Safari? My goal is to save (mobile) so that I can comfortably read them offline in iOS 14 on an iPhone. So Far I've tried: Asking the Safari reading list to save them offline, making sure to enable automatic saving for offline use in Safari settings. Unsurprisingly Safari doesn't save the items in my reading list, which results in lots of unusable entries (and a useless feature). Saving the mobile page as a PDF through the system screenshot feature. The resulting PDF is just cut off at some arbitrary point making it impossible to read e.g. a long article. This happens both in reading mode and ordinary page PDFs. Unusable. Saving the page as a .webarchive with Safari. This is the best alternative so far, but when I open the archive in Files I can't interact with the preview of it, making e.g. expandable sections unusable (one example is mobile Wikipedia article sections), and I'm not offered to open it in Safari (!) This also prevents me from using Safari's reading mode on it. Saving the reading mode page as a .webarchive. Doesn't work — it just saves the source page, i.e. same result as #3. Adding the actual .webarchive to Safari's reading list instead of to the Files app when asked where to save the archive. Unsurprisingly the reading list can't even save the page for offline use when handed the archive on a silver platter like this... How can I open my .webarchives in iOS Safari? Wikipedia Article Images Grayed Out on iPad Why are Wikipedia articles’ images grayed out with the gray boxes where images are supposed to be captioned “tap to display image” on the mobile view, which view automatically is used when searching the Internet by the iPad (running iPadOS 13.5.1)? A reader using an iPad has to go to the trouble of tapping each image to see it, or go to the trouble to switch to “Desktop” mode, or install and separately use a Google Chrome app. I am using Google as the Safari search engine, so why doesn’t Safari utilize Google Chrome or, otherwise, why isn’t Safari configured so selected search engines open Wikipedia articles without the images grayed out (they are grayed out if you select Yahoo, Bing or DuckDuckGo for Safari, also)? This doesn’t happen on my iPhone; why the graying out images on my iPad Mini 4, with only 20.7GB of 128GB used?

Using Safari after most recent updates I am beyond frustrated 😞 after this last ios update my iPad is essentially a super expensive Kindle! Can anyone point to a good tutorial on using Safari, accessing open tabs, etc. - post the update? Greatly appreciated
