Ever since a week ago, I’ve been dealing with this issue. For some reason, as I put my earbuds in, music would play through the phone, not the earbuds.
I tried my earbuds with another device, and it had worked fine. I had also used another pair of earbuds, and the same result occurred; it was still playing through the phone.
When you have the music pulled up with the artwork, play, rewind and forward. Right below the volume there are rings with an arrow going through, select that and headphones/airpods should be listed. Thats where you can select where you want the sound to play through.
Make sure they are also connected in bluetooth in settings first(if they are wireless).
I tried that, but nothing had shown up.
in settings/bluetooth are they "Connected"?
You can troubleshoot by turning bluetooth off and back on. Re-pair the earbuds and make sure they are connected again.
They’re not Bluetooth headphones, they’re just regular earbuds you plug in.
