Auto-lock set to never. Screen still turns off.

I need to keep the screens always on several iPads that are used as kiosks. I have set the Auto-lock feature to 'Never'. I put them in Guided Access mode, but about of two-thirds of the devices will still go to sleep. They seem to sleep at random intervals.

Is there another setting I am missing? The problem existed before and after upgrading to iOS 12.

Settings/ auto lock says 2 minutes. How do I get it to change ? I want my screen to remain on for 10 minutes at least but the auto lock says 2 mins. It doesn’t seem to want to change. How can I get it to do that ? iPad .

ipad homekit display lock hours Is there any option to lock an iPad only at a certain time, for example over night? I am using an iPad as Homekit display in "guided access" and would like that it would be locked over night, but no display locking during the day. Was hoping that there will be an option with "focus", but didn`t find anything. Thanks, Tino
