Apple Music GUI

Is there any improvement on the Apple Music GUI in IOS 12? I have been passing on the update for now. Specifically, any revision to the childish and inefficient 'bubble' system in setting up genre/artists you like? A list for genre that you can tick and untick would be much more effective. Artist are covered in the pop up section in now playing section by love or dislike so that should cover them. While I am here it would also be better to not have the pop up section anyway and do everything from the main screen. Has there been any improvement there?
