Notifications go to your Apple watch OR your iPhone, NOT both.
That's correct. If you have a paired Apple watch the notification sounds for apps on the watch will go to the watch.
That was not the case with my 8 plus or 7 plus
It’s always been the case with my 7 plus.
So you never hear individual text tones. Only the beep or vibrate on the watch?
you didn’t say text tones. You said notifications. I get text alerts on my phone, but not notification sounds.
Didn’t think I needed to as under notifications in settings it says banners,sounds,and badges. No I do not get any text tones when posted with Apple Watch. Any ideas?
Anyway, I don’t hear text tones unless the phone is unlocked. If its locked and I’m wearing the watch I only get the notification on the watch.
