Walkie-talkie invited contacts I don’t recognize

Walkie-talkie invited contacts I don’t recognize. I deleted by swiping left and touching +. Then next time I used walkie talkie those same that I deleted are back. I want a short list of people in walkie- talkie. I invited 3 people, but I end up with 6-8 yellow cards with names that don‘t match the 3 I invited. it appears that walkie-talkie is inviting others automatically? Is there a ”invite all contacts” setting that I need to turn off?

(Also someone please update the autocorrect algorithm to accept “walkie-talkie”)

typo: should be x not +

(and why can't we edit or delete posts??? there is no obvious button, and searching question came up with "no" - this is why there are so many trash questions and comments. sarcasm: can anyone make communities discussions even more useless?). And while you are at it deleting this message for off topic, please delete my original post as it is riddled with typos

Edit: Where are the setting that I can turn off auto-invite extra contacts to Walkie-Talkie? (I have extra yellow cards to other contacts that I didn’t invite. Two days ago I deleted those yellow cards, and yesterday those same cards showed up. Then this morning when I first opened Walkie-Talkie those 2 extra cards were grey “inviting...”. Do I have to swipe left and delete everyday? At least 2 of those I have never invited. Does it have something to do with the same feature that remembers every email you’ve ever sent or received even if they aren’t in your contacts? There are only some people that I want to be able to contact me thru walkie-talkie, not all or nothing.
