my ipad mini 2 A1432

Hello Appel support community

I need to consult you

I have a mini Ipad model A1432, I bought it in appel store in august 2013.

It is destroyed. Appel store propose me to exchange it with a new one and I will pay 200 euro.

Now my question is if I have a new one since I can not upgrade it's ios I could use it without any problem? if it is not supported by appel any more is it still secure? It is not risk to be hacked or get virus?

and at last does it worth 200 euro?

Model A1432 is NOT an iPad mini 2.

The A1492 is an original iPad mini, which as you observe, cannot be updated beyond iOS 9.3.5. Obviously, without available updates, it cannot benefit from security fixes/patches that are included with updated versions of iOS.

Only you can decide if it is worth spending money to replace your obsolete iPad mini with another. If you can afford to do so, you might consider it a better proposition to spend that money on a newer iPad that is able to run iOS12+.
