Blackmagic EGPU on Macbook using VMware Fusion Windows VM

Hello everyone,

I bought Blackmagic to use it with a Macbook Pro 2016 model for VR using VMW fusion virtual machine (Windows 10).

Unfortunately, the EGPU is recognized on the windows virtual machine ("Graphics card not recognized")

Is there anything I need to do to fix this?

The main reason for buying it is using it with VR headsets.

Thanks a lot.

As far as I know virtualized graphics are not really virtualized but emulated. I'm not aware about graphic chips that support virtualization. What I'm saying is that the virtualized OS (Win 10) doesn't have direct access to the video card, neither the internal or the external. But you should still see improvements activating the Blackmagic in Mac OS and then work in Win10/Fusion as it relies (although indirectly as I already said) on the Mac OS's video card.
