Unable to download the latest software on iPad Pro. It states it has the latest software. Help!

I can't update my iPad Pro to the latest software to iOS 12. It's running iOS 11 and it states it has the latest software. I have an app which I paid for needing to update. 😟

I don't think my iPad Pro is that old either. The model number is MQDY2CL/A.

What should I do? I don't want to buy a new iPad Pro when this one is running perfectly fine.
