Will Find My iPhone stop working after I have changed my Apple ID password?

I have lost my phone and I have turned on Find My Phone and put the phone in lost mode.

If I change my Apple ID password, will it affect the Find My Phone function such as Erase the phone?

I am not sure if my phone will automatically log out from the Apple ID due to the change in password.

iPhone 7, iOS 12.1
