iPad Air 2 won't stay connected to home wifi network

iPad Air 2 has worked flawlessly until about two days ago. I am able to connect it to other networks, including my iPhone hotspot, so I don't believe it's a hardware issue. I've tried the following but to no avail:

Restarted the iPad

Reset network settings

Turned wifi on and off

Backed up to iTunes

This is not a home network issue as my other devices are successfully connected so no need to reset the wifi router.

I am at a loss. Any suggestions are appreciated.

If I understand your post correctly, iPad never gets disconnected when you connect it to iPhone hotspot. It gets disconnected only when it's connected to home WiFi. I know you insist there's nothing wrong with your home router but try turning it off for a good minute or two and turn it back on. Also try resetting the router and/or iPad (after backing it up).
