AirPort Extreme 802.11n Loses Internet Connection During Use

For some reason, during normal internet usage, my new AP Extreme 802.11n loses it's internet connections.

The computer plugged into it physically and wirelessly just time out when trying to reach a website. Even the light on from of the unit it green, but no internet. When the router is reset, all is normal again.

Any ideas?

Hello Angas,

This sounds more like it may be a problem with the router communicating with the ISP. Have you checked all of your settings in this regard?

ISP connections can get touchy about settings such as acceptable MAC addresses, etc.

I know Comcast asks for something, not sure what. What should be in the DHCP Client ID box?

I got one of the first defective new Airport Extremes... cool. Just got the new one from Apple... after weeks of issues, and all is well.
