I am trying to use Citrix Receiver with Mojave 10.14

Citrix Receiver is version 12.9.1 for Mac from their website. It is listed as compatible to MacOs 10.13. Mojave isn't mentioned on their site.

By the way, Citrix Receiver 12.9.1 doesn't work for me either under Mojave.

Citrix won't maintain the receiver for further versions, the receiver 12.9.1 will obviously the last version. The receiver has been replaced by Citrix Workspace App, the current version is Citrix Workspace app 1809. Download this version from the Citrix website and install it. The new app will automatically replace the receiver app. I've tested it at 10.14 and it works fine.

I'm working with the Citrix Workspace 1809 at Mojave 10.14.1 (installed last week, Macbook Pro 13 2017) and I didn't recognize such problems. Did you re-install the Citrix Receiver before installing Citrix Workspace? Perhaps, try to re-install Citrix Workspace and install it again.

Ever since I upgraded my MacBook Pro to Mojave, Citrix Receiver/Citrix Workstation doesn't work. It starts out ok but after a few clicks on items in my work, the receiver stops responding and I get a continuous rolling beach ball. I can leave it for an hour and the beach ball is still rolling away. Completely non-functional for placing medical orders or doing medical record work. sigh - it used to work so well.

I've had the same problem. Even contacted Citrix but never received a response. I ended up downgrading to the Citrix 12.9 version and not having automatic updates for Citrix. Now it works fine again.

Depna, same issue here. Someone suggested it's only on older dual core chips that the problem arises.

Downgrading worked for me too, but annoying with the Workspace upgrade notice constantly.

Wish they had bug tickets so we could follow if they are going to fix this or not.

thanks for the reply. My Mac book pro was bought in October '18 so just a few months ago so that couldn't be the problem. I just wish Citrix would fix it. I know they work with microsoft but it is absolutely beyond all customers satisfaction to ignore apple users...

Is anyone still having this problem with Citrix and mojave.? I bought a new mac laptop in January and cannot use it for work using Citrix which was the reason for buying it. My IT dept at work seem to have run out of ideas. Thanks

I've finally bitten the bullit. Working for the last hour or so with no issues on the new version. I used to have a lot of trouble with it.

So seems they might well have fixed it. I note there have been a couple of updates since I last tried it, so that would add some credibility.

Did you contact Citrix and ask if they have a Mojave compatible update?

I tried this but when I try to open a third app, it hangs. Ugh! Sometimes I have to force quit Citrix Workspace to close everything.

I don't dare to upgrade Citrix anymore. Citrix version 12.9.1 is the only one working for me on Mojave so that is the one I installed again in November. Still no news from Citrix about it...
