Movies in Keynote freeze while audio keeps going

I am making a Keynote for iCloud presentation which I intend to distribute by sharing the link. When viewing the presentation on the web in Firefox 63.0.1, both videos in the presentation will freeze after a couple of seconds while the audio keeps playing. Moving the mouse and bringing up the playback controls will cause the video to catch up and start playing again before it freezes again after a few seconds. The videos are .mov encoded in 1080p H.264. This does not occur when viewing the presentation in Keynote 8.2 on my Mac. How can I correct this?
