iPad widget on home screen?
I'd like to put the weather widget icon on the home screen. It's there by default on my iPhone, but I haven't found any way to do it on the iPad. Thank you.

The Weather App, on your iPhone, is an App. This is why you can see it on your home screen.
By contrast, for your iPad, the Weather widget is just that - a Widget. On iPad, there isn’t a corresponding Weather App - and you can’t install a widget on your home screen.
The iPad and iPhone, in this respect, are different.

Thank you! That explanation is very clear. Unfortunately, the iPad weather widget doesn't show as much or as clearly as the weather app on the iPhone. Do you know of any weather app for the iPad that looks like the iPhone's app? I tried a couple, and they're more complex than what I'd like to see.
Well, depending upon where you are...
- my current favourite is “Windy” - it has a great a widget and the App itself provides some really interesting weather mapping.
- otherwise, in the UK, the BBC Weather App gives UK focussed weather forecasting.
