iPad grayscale. How do I turn color back on

iPad shut down due to no power. Battery died. Plugged in to recharge and now the display is black and white in all apps and home page and more. How do I turn the color back on.

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.3.1

Hello tami117,

Thanks for checking the steps and article provided. Since this only occurs while in Zoom, I recommend checking the filters in Zoom.

Go to Setting > General > Accessibility > Zoom > Zoom Filters.

Accessiblity helped but worry about the fix

I had the Zoom enabled when turn off color came back. There are times I need the Zoom. It is hard to see the content in Gray scale. This is a problem for many with sight problems.
