I signed up to Apple Music with a 3 month free trial. It says it expires January 29th 2019. So why have I been charged Already?

Hey there, Ciara!

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. From your post I understand you signed up for a 3-month trial of Apple Music, but have noticed you've been charged before the trial time was up. I'm happy to help!

Where are you seeing the charge for Apple Music? Is it on your bank statement? If so, you can use the information outlined in If you see 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support .

If you're seeing the charge via email, first make sure it is coming from Apple directly, which you can do with the help of Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support and Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support . If it isn't from Apple, do not click on any links or respond to the email, but do forward it to reportphishing@apple.com.

If it is an email from Apple, you can manage your subscriptions with View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support . If you're a Family Sharing organizer, purchases made by those in your family group are billed to your card on file and you will receive receipt emails, but you won't see it in your own purchase history. I'd encourage you to check wit members of a family group if you are an organizer to find out if someone signed up for Apple Music.

Cheers!
